it was only after i activated my i.ph account and turning my new domain name in my mind that i thought j. k. rowling could have played with the word "nocturne" and came up with knock-turn alley, the seedy street next to diagon alley. haha, first post in my new blog and i'm talking about harry potter. well, don't blame me. the seventh book is to be released in july and i'm not sure what to feel about it. on one paw, i'm excited that there'll finally be a closure, the conclusion to the series. but on the other paw, i'm scared coz rowling has said that several characters will definitely die. i was heartbroken when *bleep* died in book 6. i don't know if i could take any more beloved characters dying in the war against voldemort. *sigh*
anyway, i'm test driving i.ph. ever since blogger "moved out of beta," i've been having a hard time accessing my blogspot account. probably because my internet connection here at home is sooo slow (52 kbps max, anyone?) that it won't load properly. and i'm not so keen on blogging in multiply, so i'm trying out a new host.
updates… still crazy over justine henin (she dropped hardenne coz she and her husband are separated now). so disappointed that she skipped her australian tour, but as one critic said, it's the slam that she could do away with, so it's the best time to try to sort out her marital problems.
she's back on tour now, and actually won 2 of the 3 tournaments she entered, dubai and doha back to back, so i guess she's on her way to recovery. her next tournament is in miami this week, where she's the second seed. although, this is her least favorite tournament, partly because her mother's death anniversary is around this time, so i'm not expecting much. but at least her half of the draw is good. better than maria's anyway, who has the williams and hingis. hah, serves the organizers right for using last week's rankings (where maria was still number 1). oh, yeah, i almost forgot, justine is currently number 1 in the world. yeah! or, as justine would say, allez!
til next time.
